| 摘 要： | 知识水平决定着一个国家发展的前途和命运。文章在阐述终身教育思想的前提下，就高校图书馆在现代社会中的作用，分别从图书馆转型、图书馆馆员素质、图书馆的人文环境、图书馆的远程教育四大方面进行了论述。
