华南系微型黄瓜新品种9801的选育

9801是利用43个唐山黄瓜地方品种, 采用系统选择混合采种的方法, 经过6 年选育的华南系微型黄瓜新品种。该品种主侧蔓均可结瓜, 瓜短棒形, 瓜长12~14 cm, 横径3 5~4 0 cm, 果型指数3 5, 心室与果实横径比为1∶2, 3~4心室。单瓜重约100 g, 果实可溶性固形物含量2 8%, Vc含量161 mg/kg, 肉脆嫩, 口感佳, 刺瘤中等、稀疏, 皮色浅绿、有光泽。每667 m2 平均产量4 000 kg; 较抗霜霉病、枯萎病、病毒病。该品种适于河北、东北等地的露地栽培。

Hua Nan type of mini-cucumber 9801 was bred by system selection of 43 local varieties though 6 years.The fruit was short stick type and lengths were from 12 to 14 cm, diameters were from 3.5 to 4 cm.The rate of width of ventricle to diameter was 1/2. The weight about 100 g.There are 3 or 4 ventricles in fruit. The soluble carbohydrate content in the fruit was 2.8%.Its taste was fine and faint scent. The color of fruit surface was light green. The cucumber fruit yield was 60000 kg per ha.The cucumber variety was suitable for local conditions of cultivation in Northern china.
