Abstract:The header of the harvester,especially the cutter,is a complex curved part,which is difficult to manufacture.If the header is designed and manufactured by the method of repeated experiments and manufacturing,its design and processing cycle is long and its cost is high.In order to improve the design and production efficiency of the header and cutter,it introduced CATIA modeling and Adams dynamic simulation software into the design of the header,and it established the three-dimensional model of the header and cutter of the harvester by the powerful surface modeling function of CATIA,which is simplified and imported into Adams for dynamic simulation.The simulation results show that the virtual prototype and dynamic simulation results can be successfully obtained by using the software virtual modeling and simulation method,and the reference simulation results can quickly optimize the header design,so as to improve the design and production efficiency.
