摘    要:木材材色是木材基本属性,关乎木质品视觉美感及其装饰性能,其色彩变化是评价木材品质及其市场价值的重要指标。木材材色的形成及其影响因素是用材树种良种选育、人工林定向培育及木材加工利用的研究热点。文中综述木材材色分析技术,介绍现行的材色分级标准,阐释材色形成机理和变异来源,并面向未来木材市场需求及高价值人工林定向培育目标做出展望,以期为今后木材材色形成机理和实木用材树种良种选育、优质木材定向培育及加工利用等相关研究提供参考。

A Review of the Research on Wood Color

Abstract:Color is an essential attribute of wood and has a direct bearing on the visual aesthetics and decorative performance of wood products. Color variation is a vital assessment indicator of wood properties and their market value. The formation and influencing factor of wood color are the research hotspots in selective breeding of commercial tree species, directional breeding of planted forests, and wood processing and utilization. This study reviews the wood color analysis techniques, introduces the current wood color classification criteria, and expounds the wood color formation mechanism and the sources of wood color variation. Then the future wood market demands and the goals of high-value directional planted forest breeding are prospected. The purpose of the study is to provide a reference for the studies related to the mechanism underlying wood color formation, selective breeding of commercial tree species, and directional breeding, processing and utilization of high-quality wood.
