| Abstract: | Since a number of new genes and gene stacking are being involved in the next generation of GM crops, andGM crops are being used as a bioreactor for producing pharmaceutical and industrial compounds, its environmental riskassessment will be even more complicated and difficult. Here the related problems, future regulatory policies and theresearch areas that should be further strengthened are discussed. |
