| Abstract: | Summary Alloplasmic lines of B. napus with the cytoplasm of B. campestris, B. juncea, B. carinata and B. oleracea var. alboglabra were developed with the backcross substitution method. Cytoplasmic influence for different morphological and physiological attributes were absent. This suggests a common origin of the Brassica species concerned. |
