优质中果型无籽西瓜新品种"桂系二号" 选育及栽培要点

桂系二号是广西农科院园艺研究所育成的优质、丰产、抗病的中果型无籽西瓜新品种;果实高园形,一般单瓜重3￣4kg,表皮墨绿而隐暗花纹,皮厚1.0￣1.2cm,果肉鲜红,质嫩脆、汁多,白秕籽少,剖面好,中心可溶性固形物含量12.5%,皮质坚韧,耐贮运,一般产量39t/hm2。2003年通过广西农作物品种审定,审定证号为“桂审(瓜)2003003”。

Breeding for the Seedless Watermelon New Variety with Fine Quality and Middle-Sized Melon-Guixi No. 2 and Its Key Cultural Techniques

Developed by the Horticulture Research Institute of Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Guixi No. 2 is a seedless watermelon new variety characterized by fine quality, high yield potential with a common yield of 39 t/hm2, high-round shaped melon, 3 kg to 4 kg of a single melon weight, tough skin with dark blue color, concealed decorative pattern and 1.0~1.2 cm of thickness, bright-red, tender and juicy meat with few of unfilled white seeds, good cutaway view, 12.5% of dissolvable substances content, good transportation quality, and diseased resistance. It was certified by Guangxi Committee for Crop Varieties Registration in 2003 (Registration No.: Guishen (melon) 2003003).
