Abstract: | Bemisia tabaci and Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) were first observed in Malta in the early 1990s and caused serious damage to glasshouse and outdoor tomato crops. Chemical, physical and biological control methods have been developed, but the effective method has been the use of virus‐tolerant cultivars. |
