| Abstract: | The field experiments of different density of waxy corn variety ZhenghuangnuoNo.2 were done at Zhengzhou in 2008. Comparison analyses were carried out by different density during the growing time, the traits of plant and ear, yield, quality. The results showed that the density had a significance effect on yield and quality. The yield was increased with densities increasing when the density is less than 90 000 plants. Protein content was increased, oil content was fall down with densities increasing, starch content not obvious. The results gave some scientific basis for the popularizing of this variety in a larger scale. |
