| Abstract: | The paper introduces the major characteristics of ArcView GIS software and the fundamental principles and essential procedures of its application to forestry thematic mapping,based on actual process of forest resource inventory,planning and design.Taking the programming of forest stand as an example,the paper elaborates the flow,output and printing out of result diagrams with the software in the forestry thematic programming,meanwhile it conducts an analysis on its vision as well. |
