| Abstract: | This article reviews the current status of salinification, the avenue of salt tolerance in plants, salt tolerance mechanisms, how to strengthen the salt tolerance in plants and the approach of selecting salt-tolerant plants. Meanwhile the identification of physiological indices of salt-tolerant plants is illustrated. |
