| Abstract: | This study was to examine the cooperant anesthetic effects of diazepam and thiopental sodium on equine and cattle. When using diazepam intramuscularly at 0.3 mg/kg of body weight and thiopental sodium intravenously at 5 mg/kg of body weight, the equine could be anesthetized for 20-90 minutes. The cattle were anesthetized for 40-60 minutes after using diazepam intramuscularly at 0.3 mg/kg and thiopental sodium intravenously at 5-8 mg/kg. During anesthetic period, surgical procedure could be done satisfactorily. |
