| Abstract: | Following with the information and technology progressing. A large amount of knowledge could be sought on internet by people. Library service falls into a dilemma. Most readers wouldn＇t go to library as before to obtain their needs. The rule of Subject librarians was first established in Canada and USA for improving this situation. Then it extends to Chinese universities. Subject librarians built a bridge between the academic library and departments in university. It is statement of Subject librarian and service in this issue. |
