黄土高原是我国一个特殊的地理单元!也是水土流失最严重的地区。由于各学科着眼点不同,对黄土高原的范围划分各异。作者荟萃了以自然地理单元、地貌单元和水土保持单元而划分黄土高原的观点及其四周界线,提出了黄土高原和黄土高原地区两种概念。

On the Scope of Loess Plateau

The loess plateau is not only a special geographic element,but also a severe soil and water loss area in China. The division of the scope of the loess plateau is different because the point of study of various disciplines is different. The author puts forward two concepts of classification of the area into loess plateau and loess plateau area based on summarizing views of the loess plateau divided according to physiogeographic elements,geomorphic elements and soil conservation elements and its peripheral lines.
