The New Research Progress of Anther Culture in Pepper(Capsicum Annuum L.)

Brief introduction was presented on the progress of anther culture of pepper. The key factors effecting anther culture was discussed in this pepper, including genotypes, the condition of donor plants, the stage of pollen development, pretreatment, medium, culture conditions etc. The mechanism of anther culture in pepper was also introduced briefly. The major problems in the research of pepper haploid production and that prospect were proposed.
