Symposium: The Corneal Ulcer*—I Anatomy and Physiology of the Cornea of the Dog

Abstract— An illustrated review of the anatomy and physiology of the cornea of the eye of the dog. The main features of the structures are described together with the mechanisms of healing in the epithelium, the substantia propria and the endothelium.
Résumé— Un comptc-rendu illustré sur l'anatomie et la physiologie de la cornée de l'oeil chez le chien. Les points essentiels de structure y sont dêrits de même que le mêanisme de guérison dans l'épthélium, la Substantia Propria et l'endothélium.
Zusammenfassung— Ein illustrierter Überblick über die Anatomie und Physiologie der Hornhaut im Auge von Hunden. Die hauptsächlichen charakteristischen Umstände der Gefügeanordnung werden gemeinsam mit Heilungsmechanismen im Epithel, der Substantia Propria und dem Endothel beschrieben.
