| Abstract: | A peripheral neuroblastoma is described in a two-year-old Japanese Akita with a vague illness and a palpable abdominal mass. Radiology confirmed the presence of a cranial abdominal mass which was determined to be inoperable at exploratory laparotomy. The tumour was believed to have originated in the adrenal glands. The problems of clinical and pathological diagnosis are discussed. |
