Abstract:Results of comparision of several tests,including colony diametertest,hyphal dry weight test,growth inhibitory zone test,and sporegermination test,indicaded that the colony diameter test was the bestmethod for determination of the resistance of wheat scab organism tocarbendazim(MBC),and its procedure was stardandized.According toresults of the spore germination and growth on media containing lppmMBC,two methods,i.e.testing spores directly from infected ears andmeasuring growth on media containing lppm MBC,were designed forlardge scale or primary detection of the resistance to carbendazim.
