摘    要:RNA干扰(RNAi)是一种可以特异性沉默靶基因,进而抑制mRNA翻译的过程。自发现以来,RNAi便在各个方面得到快速发展和广泛应用,尤其是在基因功能鉴定研究方面展现了强大的优势,而且在动物病毒性疾病的治疗和预防等方面也有着无可比拟的优越性。由于目前畜禽抗病疫苗效果越来越不理想,然而将针对病毒设计的特异性小干扰RNA或短发卡RNA转入到动物细胞内却得到了良好的抑制效果,同样的方法也可以抑制内源不良基因的表达,从而提高畜禽的生产性状。论文主要从RNAi作用机制及其在畜禽传染性疾病和改善畜禽生产性状方面的应用研究概况等方面做简单介绍。

Progress of RNAi Application in Disease-resistance and Production Improvement in Livestock and Poultry

Abstract:RNA interference(RNAi)is a sequence-specific gene silencing mechanism which can inhibit mRNA translation. Since discovered, it has been developing rapidly and used widely in many fields, espe- cially showing dominating priorities in identifying gene functions and incomparable superiorities in the treatment and prevention of animal virosis. Targeted at the poor effect of anti-disease vaccine, virus-specif- ic small interfering RNA (sIRNA) or shorthairpin RNA (shRNA) were introduced into animal cells and rewarded a good inhibitory effect. Similarly, production traits of livestock and poultry could be improved by inhibiting endogenous unfavorable gene expressions. Therefore, the mechanism of RNAi and its appli- cation of disease-resistant performance and production improvement in livestock and poultry were analyzed and reviewed in the paper.
