Zur Wirkung von Precocen 2 und Fenarimol auf die Kohlblattlaus,Brevicoryne brassicae (L.) und ihren ParasitoidenDiaeretiella rapae (M'Intosh)

The anti-hormone compounds, precocene-2 (anti-juvenile hormone) and fenarimol (anti-ecdysone) were evaluated against the green cabbbage aphid,Brevicoryne brassicae (L.) alone and for their compatibility with the endoparasiteDiaeretiella rapae (M'Intosh). The results revealed that precocene-2 provided more than 90% control ofB. brassicae acted on larvae within 72 h after the treatment, while fenarimol was less effective. Moreover, either precocene-2 or fenarimol extremely reduced the reproductive potentiality ofB. brassicae surviving adults. Both anti-hormone compounds demonstrated compatibility withD. rapae, a parasitoid ofB. brassicae. No considerable difference was detected when parasite emergence was compared from treated and untreated individuals.
