外语教师应宽容学生中介语中的非目的语形式

摘    要:在我国的外语教学实践中,大多数教师不能容忍学生中介语中的非目的语形式,总是当场纠正,这种作法对学生的外语学习非常不利。采用几位语言学家在第二语言习得方面的观点,论证了外语教师不能容忍学生中介语中的非目的语形式的不合理性。

Abstract:In the practice of English teaching in China's schools, most teachers can-not tolerate the non-target language forms (errors) made by students. They always correctthem immediately. But it's not helpful to student's learning foreign language, becausethey are the idiosyncratic forms which are just part of the interlanguage, and are producedat a single point in time, and if they are corrected immediately, negative effects will bebrought about. This article argues the above point of view with the findings made by somelinguists.
