| 摘 要： | 萨福克绵羊在十九世纪初，用南邱公羊与古老的黑面有角诺福克母羊杂交培育而成。以早熟和繁殖能力高而著称（产羔率约１３０％），并具有良好的母性，羊肉品质好等优良特性，萨福克广泛的用于杂交父本，生产肥羔，效果很好。

| Abstract: | The Suffolk breed of sheep is the outcome of cross-breeding between the Southdown rams and ewes of the old north fork breed. The breed is noted for its extremely early maturity and high prolificacy. The ewes are excellent mothers. The quality of the mutton is good. This breed is extensively used as sires in cross -- breeding for prime lamb production. |
