| Abstract: | This paper discribes method, scope, and prospect of the application of computer in forestry with particular emphasis on its role in forestry information analysis and treatment, automatic collection of information and automatic control. Three main fields of present development are presented. Forest resources information management system (FRIMS), forest management decision system (FMDS), and expert system. |
