| Abstract: | The relationship between the biological habits and ecology of the long wood bee (Xylocopa attenuata Per.) had been systematically studied.For the first time the bees that live alone were successfully moved to the grass groud from far place in 1987,and then they live together and breed,the group increased rapidly. The yield of herbage seed in 1990 increased 3.16 times as many as in 1986.In 4 years,obviously biologi- cal benefits have been got,the yield has increased 172.4 percent year by year. |
