| Abstract: | The technique of Geographic Information System(GIS)and the application in traffic planning are reviewed.Based on the theory and software development platform of GIS,the secondary development of GIS is implemented against the characteristics of traffic planning combining with actual circumstance of traffic zone and road network in certain city.Applying GIS in actual traffic planning and then forming Geographic Information System of traffic planning will make decision-making of traffic planning more scientific and reasonable and improve the working efficiency. |
