| Abstract: | After observing and analysing the sexual organs of oranged pomelo and through the treat-ments such as natural pollination,bag-type isolation and artifical hybridism,its fertility andseediessness were determined.The resultS are as follows:Firstly,this kind of pomelo is malesterile and female fertile.Secondly,cross pollination not only makes it bear fruit but aha pro-duces viable seeds,Thirdly,it has the character of spontanous parthenocarpy,that is to say,itbears seedless fruit under the condition of no stimulus. |
