<正> 前言动物体组织在生命活动过程中不断的进行着代谢,其代谢产物一部分由消化道随粪排出叫粪中代粪物质或代谢粪,另一部分由尿排出叫尿中内源物质或内源尿。这两部分物质中仍然含有一定能量分别称之为代谢粪能(FE_m)和内源尿能(UE_e)。

METABOLIZABLE ENERGY DETERMINATION OF POULTRY FEEDS II. True Metabolizable Energy of Poultry Rations and Feeds

An experiment was performed to determine the true metabolizable energy (TME) value of two rations and wheat bran for poultry. Six 15 Week-hold Single Comb White Leghorn cockerals were housed in individual cages. Each was fed 40 grams once a day in pellet form to be cleaned up in 10 minutes. 24 hour excreta was collected into small plastic flasks sewed around the anus. TME values of dry matter of rations A, E and wheat bran wers 3.45, 2.60 and 2.21 Kcal/g respectively (p<0.001). Average endogenous energy excretions were 6.15 Kcal per bird per day and 7.44 Kcal per kg body weight.No signifi cant difference was found between the apparent ME values obtained from the present TME method and that from conventional metnod of earlier study(p>0.05).
