| Abstract: | To date,genetic maps have been developed from interspecific crosses between Gossypium hirsuturn × G.barbadense and G.hirsutum × G.tomentosum.In this research,an F2 population was developed from an interspecific cross between G.hirsutum × G.mustelinum.A genetic linkage map was constructed by using two kinds of molecular markers,namely Simple Sequence Repeats (SSRs) and Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (RFLP).The similarities and differences between this and other published interspecific maps will be presented. |
