Abstract: | Trials of chilled (5–10° C) and cryogenic storage of grouper sperm revealed that sperm suspended in two different solutions containing 10% dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) were active after 2 days of chilled and deep-frozen storage, whereas those suspended in the same solutions containing 10% glycerol were not. Sperm suspended in the 10% DMSO sulutions were more active after chilled storage than were those in undiluted milt under the same conditions. |
