| Abstract: | 10 different citrus varieties(or strains),widely planted inChina were selected and studred for their resistance to the red mite(Panon chus cirri McG.).The results of the laboratory works show-ed:Kumquat(Fortunella crassifolia)was the most highly resistantvariety to the mite;Eurecalemon(Citrus limon)was also an resistantone,because on which the mite laid the least eggs.Other factors ofthe citrus leaves were found to have no relations to their resistanceto the mite. |
