Available zinc content and zinc effectiveness of shajiang meadow soil in Hua-aibei

The results of measuring the soil available zinc content of 107 sa-mples from north Anhui have shown that the zinc deficiency symptom of shajiangmeadow soil is common and serious, the mean value by the DTPA method is0.31(0.31-0.83) ppm. The percentage increases of zinc fertilizer application tosoybean and rice is usually 10%-20%, and the ratio of input to output comes to 1:68.40 and1:83.25 by spray application respectively. However, the application ofphosphorous fertilizer can restrain the zinc absorption to soybean. and the effectis significantly correlated with the amonnt of P application.
