Discussion on the Agricultural Legislation during Roosevelt's New Deal Period

American agriculture suffered a heavy blow from the economic crisis from 1929 to 1933.In order to help the national economy to tide over the crisis,the new president of America Roosevelt threw away the former thought that American federal government should not interfere in the economy.Roosevelt claimed that American federal government should control and regulate the development of economy.A series of new deal and legislation were established under the guiding thought.Agricultural legislation was one important part,which included the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1933 and 1938.The agricultural legislation in the New Deal period saved the American agriculture from bankruptcy and established some basic systems in modern agricultural legislation of America.It plays the role of a milestone.
