摘    要:为探讨微重力与太空辐射等因素对鸡球虫生物学特性的影响,我们首次将一株已孢化的柔嫩艾美耳球虫搭载于返回式科学试验卫星。卫星运行7天后返回地面。

Abstract:In order to study the influence of weightlessness,cosmic rays and other facts upon the biological characters of coccidia in chickens,we,for the first time, placed a strain of sporulated Eimeria tenella into a retrievable scientific satellite. After 7-day space mission, the satellite returned to earth. A comparision between the retured coccidia and the control ones was made.The prepatent period of the returned coccidia was two hours later than that of their counterparts.The reproductive index (RI) during the 4-day period after the prepatent period was 2.6 times as much as that of the control group. The average oocysts per gram of feces(OPG)was 3.18 times as much as that of the control goup. The oocyst dimensions of returned coccidia were decreased significantly (P<0. 001). And the returned parasites became more virulent than the control ones.
