五种中、外农学期刊对比分析

对比分析了《作物学报》、《中国农业科学》、Theor Appl Genet、Plant Physiology和Crop Science等5种中、外农学期刊的基本出版情况、编委会、出版时滞、引文情况、作者度机构合作情况和网络化情况等。结果显示：（1）卷数、期数、页数和栏目设置等4个限制因素中外刊只有2个，而中文期刊均有3个；（2）《作物学报》审稿周期长于2外刊，2中刊的出版周期并不比2种国外同行期刊长；（3）中文期刊的篇均引文数和参考文献中期刊自引率均远低于外刊；（4）中、外刊在引文习惯上有所不同。国外学者较注重对研究课题历史文献的检索和阅读；（5）“作者国家数”和“国际合作论文比”中、外刊差异很大，外刊远大于中刊，充分显示了2中刊与3外刊在国际化程度存在很大差距；（6）2中刊在网络化方面做的较好，但与因外期刊相比还存在差距。基于上述结果．提出了2中刊相应的编辑出版策略。

Comparative Analysis of Two Chinese and Three Foreign Agronomic Periodicals

The paper has analyzed Two Chinese leading agronomic periodicals (Acta Agronomica Sinica and Scientia Agricultura Sinica) and three foreign agronomic periodicals (Theoretical and Applied Genetics, Plant Physiology and Crop Science) in the aspects of basic publishing situation, members of editorial board, average paper publishing delay, citation data, country and organization origin of authors, and utility of network etc. The results are as follows: (1) Among four restricting factors (the number of volumes, the number of issues, the number of pages and column set-ups), two Chinese journals have three of them, but three foreign journals only have two of them. (2) The average period of peer review of Acta Agronomica Sinica is longer than those of two foreign journals, while the average paper publishing delay of two Chinese journals are not longer than those of two foreign journals. (3) The number of references and journal self-citation rate of two Chinese journals are much lower than those of three foreign journals. (4) Citation habits are different between Chinese journals and foreign journals, i.e. foreign scholars always pay more attention to read and cite historical literatures on their research field. (5) The number of country origin of authors and organizations are greatly different between two Chinese journals and three foreign journals. Two Chinese journals are much lower than those of three foreign journals, and this may indicate that two Chinese journals have very low level of internationalization and low international visibility. (6) Two Chinese journals do better on the utility of network than other Chinese S&T journals. However, they also have more to learn from three foreign journals. Based on these results, we proposed some editorial and publishing strategies for the two analyzed Chinese journals.
