An Exploration of Ecological Function Zoning of Wetland in Yinchuan of Nignxia

The ecological function regionalization is the foundation and scientific basis for scientific management of the wetland resources and also an important approach for wetland ecosystem management. Based on the natural characteristics of different areas of the existing wetland resources in Yinchuan municipality, especially the hydrological and geological characteristics, the wetlands function difference, the similarity of the protection and rational utilization approach, the continuity of administrative region and watershed and the practical operability associated with the formation of the wetland, an exploration and analysis of the ecological function zoning of the wetland in Yinchuan are carried out.
