| Abstract: | An improved Faustmann model was put forward on the basis of analysing the classical Faustmann model.The improved model may be applied not only to calculate precisely the economic maturity of a forest,but also to illustrate more accurately the quantitative relations between economic maturity and discount rate, economic maturity and rotation,economic maturity and cost,etc. The economic maturity of some working groups in Qiuqiangou Forest Farm,Shanxi Province,were calculated later on. |
