摘    要:本文对国际人造板工业的原料、环境保护问题的研究和开发,以及新技术的应用作了简要回顾,并对其社会背景及前提条件作了分析。其中特别是对于原料的开拓,提出了我国应如何吸取发达国家的经验的看法。

Abstract:This paper continues to review the new achivements in internationalwood based panels industry. The chief event is successful utilization of natural poplar trees as raw material for a massive production of waferboard in North America. Researches on the utilization of short-rotation intensively cultured poplar trees have been done for years. In the fieldof environmental protection, a fast progress and great success is the method of reduction in formaldehyde emission from UF bonded boards.Quite a lot of commercial boards have come up to the German E1 emission standard. A method with potential significent to reduce formaldehyde emission, as well as enhance hydrolitic stability, is to control UF resin structure. Facing the lack of sound wood resouces and the challenges of composite boards, the plywood industry has to intensify the utilization of advanced techniques for its subsistence in some developed countries.The particleboard and MDF industry emerged and developed from the industrial countries, therefore, are naturally characterized by adopting advanced techniques. The experiences from other countries could be understood, extracted and applied correctly only in the case that the development of Chinese wood based panels industry is considered based on ourown social background and great efforts to strengthen R&D.
