摘    要:介绍了近年来国内外对水力机械蜗壳的研究情况,从蜗壳内的流场测试、数值模拟、外特性研究及设计方法等几个方面进行了阐述,并对蜗壳的进一步研究提出建议。

Abstract:Research on volute of hydraulic machinery over recent years both at home and abroad is introduced in this paper. The discussion covers the aspects of measurement of velocity, numerical simulation, performance and design. The prevalent methods of measuring the flow field inside a volute are the particle image velocimeter (PIV) and the laser doppler velocimeter (LDV). The flow field information in a volute casing obtained by these instruments and techniques is more reasonable and actual than those obtained by others. In the aspect of numerical simulation, more and more researchers tend to consider the volute and impeller as an integrated part. However, the skill how to deal with the interaction between the volute and impeller is a sticking point. The effects of geometry of a volule, including the shape and area of cross section, the clearance between an impeller and a volute tongue, etc., on the performance of a hydraulic machinery were discussed. In order to obtain a high efficiency, the optimal designs are used instead of traditional methods. Some suggestions for further researches on a volute are also given.
