玉米基因组学的发展现状及我国的对策

玉米是世界上最重要的禾谷类作物之一.由于玉米在美国是第一大作物,研究基础非常雄厚,美国政府和科学界对玉米的基因组学研究投入了大量的人力物力,迄今为止,已取得了非常显著的成绩.另外,欧洲也在玉米的基因组学研究方面有长足的进步,但与美国相比,还相差很远.对目前国际上玉米基因组学的研究现状和未来发展趋势做一介绍,并提出我国在这个前沿领域的对策。

Current Situation of Maize Genomics and Strategies in China

Maize is one of the most important cereals in the world.Because maize is the first crop in the U.S.A. and has been studied extensively,the American government and scientific community have input greatly in research on maize genomics and made a significant progress.In addition,maize genomics in Europe has also been developed rapidly but has big difference from that in the U.S.A.The present paper reviews the current situation and future prospect of maize genomics research in the world,and proposes the strategies of maize genomics development in China.
