台湾西南部刺竹林更新与泥砂控制工法

摘    要:刺竹目前占台湾西南部泥岩地区之绿蔽率达 80%以上,虽为早期最主要之适生造林树种,但其具有排他性,造成林下地表植物不易入侵。此外,刺竹之耗水量大(蒸散量大),且根域保水力差,茎干丛生于坡顶之风摇作用与浅层性须根系型特性,使竹林地区易造成坡面基脚侵蚀或坡面崩滑之情形。若为水土资源保育之长远考量,泥岩地区刺竹林之林相更新或竹林地复层植被之建立,有其必要性与迫切性。有关泥岩地区之相关试验研究虽多,但目前对于持续扩大之自然裸坡则尚无良好对策与方法。本研究拟以泥岩整体环境重建构想,提出泥岩地区刺竹林地林相更新与复层植被建立之构想,并配合简易之淤砂控制工法,包括坡脚连续式植生土堤淤泥措施、坡脚连续式复层植栽土堤淤泥设施、淤泥植物栅工程、裸坡坡趾植生石笼与控式农塘配合湿地植被营造等配置工法。进行相关试验与评估,期望对泥岩坡面裸化、冲淤过程以及植被坡面保育功能等适宜性整治有所了解与助益,进而对持续扩张之泥岩裸露地加以控制,并建立一套具体可行之方式。初步结果显示东南向的裸坡冲蚀量最大,受当地之日照与气候变化影响颇巨,而冲蚀下的淤泥,造成第一道土堤内之植栽存活率减少。因此,就地取材的连续性拦阻、泥砂冲蚀控制及生态环境之营造,已颇具

Abstract:Thorny bamboo was the previously most important afforestation tree in the mudstone area of Taiwan and its' canopy density have been arrived 80%. Statistics reference shows that the thorny bamboo have some negative effects for slope conservation. In order to improve their effectiveness of soil erosion control and consider sustainable management for ecological environment, the bamboo forest should be revegated or have its' vegetation structure changed.The serious erosion and damage happened in mudstone area were always resulted from characteristically abominable geological conditions, local climate types and abuse of land development. The datum show that the soil at this area is the most and the easiest erosive in Taiwan.Sediment yield in rivers of this area consequently increases and has reached the highest rank comparing with main rivers in the world.In order to solve mudstone problems,the research intend to collect all the research papers and revegetation methods that had done in the natural and cutted slope of mudstone areas during the past years, and assess their effectiveness and suitability in four years' period. Therefore, this study will integrate vegetation engineering, forestland renewal and sediment control methods, considering the ecology management as a whole. This plan will set up a watershed (experiment plot), to study the control of soil bareness, sediment pollution control and ecological restoration methods of the mudstone area.
