| Abstract: | By crossing CRI 12 with ms 5ms 6 male sterile lines from USA, isocytoplasmic allonucleic and allocytoplasmic allonucleic ms 5ms 6 male sterile lines were developed. In recent years,boll worm resistant gene Bt was transfered into these lines and resistant lines were obtained, which have better agronomical characters ,outstanding boll worm resistance and the same stable and complete male sterility as the original lines. The successful breeding of these lines will bring a promising prospect of cotton heterosis utilization through two line system and insect pollination. |
