| Abstract: | Fungal growth in spruce timber stored under low oxygen atmosphere . Fungal growth and species composition in Norway spruce timber (Picea abies) stored under an atmosphere with low oxygen concentration was monitored by isolation techniques. The results were compared with those from unprotected wood and from living trees. The role of potentially antagonistic fungi is discussed. |
