The development of landscape design to the present,has produced a lot of design style and factions,many new design techniques continue to emerge,the use of new technologies,new materials are emerging.From the perspective of the demands,the modern landscape design should provide the modern landscape environment with a strong spiritual appeal on condition that meets the functions.Given from Zen School,landscape design is to create the landscape environment of highly spirit magnetic field,which is discussed in this paper the Zen in the landscape design.Zen has been throughout in the course of development of the landscape design,and made a healthy,guileless,modest form become a modern sense of Zen environment,which maintains harmony between the environment and nature and keeps continuity of tradition and culture.
