| Abstract: | This paper summarizes the general situation of lawsuits of social effects of pollution in Japan and the relevant theories. Then, the paper explores Japan's apocalypses to China in view of the problems and legislative flaws regarding lawsuits of social effects of pollution. Finally, the paper concludes that Japan's practice can offer us the following apocalypses: enhancement of the environment consciousness of citizens, optimize the law of compensation for environmental pollution, and strengthen the liability of environment tort. |
