AN OUTLOOK OF THE INSECT PEST MANAGEMENT

This paper gives an analysis of the quantitative development of the insect pest in an agroecosystem with relation to its environmental factors.Particular attention is paid to the relationship between the insect pest and its natural ene- mies as a whole.They exist in mutual contradiction,and one cannot live without the other.This outstanding contradiction constitutes the particular essence which distinguishes Economic Entomology from other branches of science. Hence it is indispensable to study the role of the natural enemies in the agroe- cosystem in order to get a better management of the insect pests.
