| Abstract: | Relationship among Pythium aphanidermatum, Fusarium grami- nearum and F. moniliforme which cause corn sta1k rot was determined by crossly inoculating PDA,seedlings in pot culture, and plants in the field with these pathogens. Results suggested that the antagonisms of various extents appeared among the three pathogens.For example, F. graml- nearum inhibited most obviously the growth of others,and F. monili- forme did second, whereras no evident antagonism was caused by P. aphanidermatum. It should be emphasized that the inoculation order of the three pathogens was a key factor which influenced the full expres- sion of pathogenicity of pathogen. |
