| Abstract: | This paper, formulates several methods for designing tne teethshape of rectangular spline shaft hob and gives relevant design calculation formu-las. The value approaching design procedure which utilizes the principle of theLeast square Method to evaluate optimal approximate circle-are of hob teethshape is discussed in detail and the design error is also been analysed via exam-ples. |
