Economical preparation of fluids for intravenous use in cattle practice |

| Abstract: | The equipment and materials necessary to prepare and safely administer fluids intravenously to cattle are described. The preparation and clinical uses of Hartmann's solution are discussed, together with modifications of the solution to permit its application to different disease states. |
