Argopecten irradians Lamarck was origined near the Atlantic Coast of the U.S.,has been introduced since 1982,and has brought great economic benefits,social benefits and ecological benefits.As large-scale farming of Argopecten irradians Lamarck,a series of problems about constraining Argopecten irradians Lamarck farming are gradually emerging,especially in germplasm degradation,while taking a series of appropriate measures and achieving some success,but there is no fundamental solutions to these problems.The introduction of new species can contain germplasm degradation,promote ecological balance,improve the effectiveness of unit culture water,,play a role in the prevention of the outbreak of infectious diseases,and play as a reference and guide to the introduction of other species.This paper reviews recent introduction work of Argopecten irradians Lamarck,in order to providing the reference to solving a large-scale farming of Argopecten irradians Lamarck.
