| Abstract: | Summary A good correlation between foliage attack of young and mature plants was observed. No evidence could be found that plants showing some resistance to plant infection produce fruits less susceptible to internal fruit rot. The extent of external fruit rot depended on the extent of wounding and on the thickness of the peel. |
